Hands-on Holistic Hunting Courses:
Experience the Journey of the Hunt: Inviting small groups into our lives where we are not just teaching but also living these values and sharing this way of life with you, where the hunt isn’t just about the kill, it’s about the journey leading up to it, the work after, and the discoveries along the way. In our opinion, there is more value in the journey and learning and knowing how to be a hunter than there is in being able to shoot something that someone else helped find.
Give someone the opportunity to shoot and they will shoot for a day. Teach a hunter to find their own path and opportunities and they will hunt for a lifetime.
In-person training: field dress, skin, butcher (deer, elk), shoot rifles, archery, track, scout, plan and prepare, gear, spiritual journey, rite of passage. Home-cooked meals. Intimate community experience.

Best way to age tracks is to observe when a deer/elk/whatever walks through an area. Immediately go and look at the sign and memorize what it looks like. Go back every day after and you can get a relatively good idea of how old a track is. The more you do that the better you get at it.
